The Counterfeit Sixties was formed by four experienced musicians devoted to 60’s music and the people that influenced the most creative period in pop. Each member of the combo has a wealth of experience playing in various groups individually and worked with some of the legends of that era.
As the band members themselves lived through the sixties, they have a wealth of in-depth knowledge of what fab memories can be evoked during the performance of a 60’s show. All reproduced using live action footage of many familiar sights and sounds associated with this period: from specially selected events, famous people, adverts and - of course - the original artists of the time.
The two-hour concert covers many recollections from the decade and, with over twenty five bands reproduced, this event is undoubtedly the most comprehensive 60’s experience around today.

Show & Production
The Counterfeit Sixties tour the UK with full sound production as standard. Our main PA is a 2 stack system running at 6KW Per stack, powered by Crown Amplifiers.
We tour with our Sound Engineer / Production Manager who mixes on a Yamaha LS9 32 Digital Mixing Console.
Our full theatre show includes video projection and effects with the option of our 3 professional dancers.
The Counterfeit Sixties are self contained. We all travel together and our crew and band set up the gear. We drive the lengths of the country on a weekly basis to perform our show to the masses.
