When I first proposed this project I was really inspired by all the people willing to help. I polled friends and family on fashion trends they hated the most and was overwhelmed with responses. Even my own Father, who knows nothing about fashion can tell you what he HATES about fashion. During the process I was surprised with how easy it was to take the photos for this publication. Everyone has bad fashion trends in the back of their closets, including myself.
I wanted to explore why. Why do we get caught up in certain fashion trends? Why do they stop being cool? And most importantly what happened in pop culture to start this trend?
