Apollo 11 Paper Planes

This series of 3 planes shows the journey of the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon on July 20, 1969.
First Phase: Saturn V
The Saturn V rocket launched on July 16 1969 , with millions of people watching. The rocket needed enough fuel to lift it out of the Earth's atmosphere, upon which it deteriorated, leaving just the Command Module behind.
Second Stage: Command Module, Columbia.
Once separated from the Saturn V rocket, the astronauts had to steer the Command Module into orbit around the Sun until they could align with the lunar orbit of the Moon.
Third Phase: The Eagle
Once in orbit, the Lunar Module Eagle separated from the Command Module and began its descent into the Sea of Tranquility. They landed successfully and shortly after, Neil Armstrong stepped out, stating those famous words:
"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
Concept sketches and studies of the spacecraft involved in the moon landing.
