Quando pensamos nos muitos mirantes da cidade do Rio de janeiro, são os monumentos naturais e as paisagens deslumbrantes onde eles se inserem que nos vem imediatamente a cabeça. No entanto, quer do alto de cada um dos seus muitos edifícios, que representam seu lado rico, quer do alto de seus morros, onde se instalam as comunidades pobres, um novo ponto de vista da cidade se oferece, normalmente conhecido por poucos e sempre com uma mistura bem forte entre o urbano e o natural.
Assim sendo, o que este ensaio propõe são interferências nestas paisagens utilizando pinturas de luz como linguagem. Esta técnica recentemente redescoberta por jovens artistas, mesmo não sendo novidade no universo fotográfico, faz alusão ao moderno e cria nos ambientes iluminados uma atmosfera de surrealidade, quebrando a rudeza e objetividade do real.
When we think about the many viewpoints of the city of Rio de Janeiro , what comes immeadiately to our minds are the natural monuments and stunning landscapes where they stand. However, both the top of each of its many buildings, that represent its rich side, or the top of its hills , where they poor communities settle, a new city view is offered , usually known by very few and always with a very strong mix between the urban and the natural. Therefore , what this paper does is interference in these landscapes using light paintings as language. This technique, recently rediscovered by young artists , even being not new to the photographic universe , alludes to the modern and creates in photographed environments an atmosphere of surreality , breaking the rudeness and objectivity of the real.
