War of the Words is a publication that supports a hypothetical design talks event of the same name. It features a series of articles and short essays written by speakers at the event.
The black and white design contains no imagery and is printed at A3 size. In doing so I approached the brief by paying homage to Typography, a fundamental theme within the event. Aside from ensuring optimal readability throughout, my aim was to prove that a design which focuses almost solely on typography can not only hold it's own visually, but remain engaging from front to back.
