The brief given to us was to introduce a product in a way that would provide the artisans a scope to take the product further themselves, which would give them a channel formany more individual ideas towards the application. Thus the product made was mustard seed pillow for new borns made in the duration of one month. These pillows allowed lot of experimentation with the existing style that is the speciality of shantiniketan batik, expanding the horizons of the artisans with various subjects for illustration.
