The country Egypt has been always identified and is familiar by its historical roots of its ancient kingdoms, where ancient Egypt was a civilization of ancient northeastern Africa. In 2040 Cairo will flashback to its ancient roots in terms of style, yet interpret it in Olympics in a modernized and futuristic perspective.

The pictograms were based on ancient god Anubis; the god of the underworld, who is one of the most iconic gods of ancient Egypt. He had a head of a jackal and body of a human being. He was a guardian and a protector and was characterized by strength and power. The pictograms were created on the same proportional-grid ancient Egyptians used to draw hieroglyphs on.
