Ben B. Schwartz & Sons has been selling wholesale produce in Detroit since 1906 at the Detroit Produce Terminal. While it was very important to them to have a modern and organized site that highlighted on the freshness of their produce, they were also adamant that their history and heritage were featured as well.

I was tasked with the design of both the architecture and the art for the website. When planning the designs, I chose to include a main centerwell to feature some eye-catching & exceptionally fresh produce images, as well as a few promo areas for showcasing other content. I chose a clean, modern design with a basic white and blue palette to help the produce pop and create a serene, enjoyable atmosphere.
