For the past three years I have produced my own gift wrap at Christmas time, the added element of creativity, love and effort means I don't have to spend as much money on gifts, which is always a bonus. This year was no different, however I had some more time on my hands and so produced a set of screen printed wrapping paper featuring robins and mistletoe. 

Using single line illustrations previously developed in a project for Creative Networks (which can be found here) I produced the two images and then set them out as a repeating patterns for the paper's design. I'm a big fan of brown packaging paper, I feel it gives a present a more rustic feel and so it was perfectly paired with the screen printed medium and the natural cotton string. Overall my aim was to produce something cute and personal and nothing says personal more than hand crafted and printed design.
