This was completed as a third quarter project during my Junior Year of Animation class. We had to animated a storybook and I chose to animate Bob and Larry's Silly Slides by Cindy Kenney. 

 

I scanned the book pages in and drew over them in Illustrator, then manipulated some objects to move. It only turned out to be a minute long, but that was because the book is pretty short. After drawing over the pictures in Illustrator, I painted over them in Photoshop, (I drew them as if a child were drawing the pictures) Then, I imported into After Effects and used a stroke effects to reveal what Larry was drawing in the flaps. I also used various camera movements to enhance the animation and follow the characters across the screen. It got a bit frustrating at times with the camera movements, but I managed to get the shots in the correct place.
