Up until February 2015, mapping data for Ben Franklin had always been boring and unattractive. The standard automated data mapping systems just weren’t cutting it anymore. These systems produced maps that only fullfilled a need, nothing worth celebrating. But we knew we had a story to tell with our data.
My mission, after realizing the gold mine of data we had sitting in front of us, was to create a map that not only told the company story but did it in a fascinating and attractive way.
