CRITICAL MASS
Critical Mass is a cycling event typically held on the last Friday of every month in over 300 cities around the world. The ride was originally founded in 1992 in San Francisco.
The purpose of Critical Mass is not usually formalized beyond the direct action of meeting at a set location and time and traveling as a group through city or town streets on bikes.
The critical mass is also a celebration of soft mobility that allows riders to move more safely and easily, marking its presence in public space and making it visible by the number and density of the merger. This "security by the amount" makes it an excellent way of initiating the use of vehicles in an urban area smooth.
In this project was designed a poster for the critical mass of Alverca, the largest and closest city to my small town.
It was thought a poster to two colors only, to minimize printing costs, so too can change their color or even put an image with ease
