Glyph compositions using Neue Haas Grotesk and Stempel Garamond
The glyph compositions are a project that challenges one to create two different designs using only glyphs from a serif and san serif typeface. The project required the glyphs only be black or white and a minimum of five glyphs should be present in each composition.
This composition uses Neue Hass Grotesk and relies heavily on the principle of alignment to complement the san serif font's blocked glyphs.
This composition uses Stempel Garamond and has more eye movement than the previous composition. I wanted the serif composition to have more fluid motion to mimic the tapering lines of the typeface.
