Dandelion Wine
A recipe brochure after Ray Bradbury's novel
I did this project as a part of my Graphic Design class, with the assignment to create a papermade product which teaches the readers to do something. My Idea was creating a brochure which would teach the making of Dandelion wine, the process serving a metaphore for a Douglas Spoulding's (a little boy)  life in the three summer months, described in Ray Bradbury's book "Dandelion wine". The three spreads of the brochure stand for the three summer months and speak of 3 sets of steps in producing the dandelion wine.  The illustrations in each one of them are correlated to the events happening to Douglas during the summer. The atmosphere created by the imagery is remeniscent of the bright and luminous, both joyous and thought-provoking summer days of Ray Bradbury's book. I used the writers quotations as sidebar text to revive the meaning of the book in the reader's memory, too.
