During the summer of 2011, I interned at EdLab at Teachers College, Columbia University. EdLab is a research, design, and development unit focused on developing edtech and new learning platforms through a variety of projects. One of the projects I was involved with was the YoungArts project, formally titled "Pursuing Your Passions: Lessons from Masterclass HBO." Based on the HBO series Masterclass, where select high school students were paired with a famous mentor in their prospective arts field, the YoungArts project aims to provide an online platform to foster connections and dialogue between young artists. The graphics below are mockups of the YoungArts website I created, with background images sourced from National Geographic.
