Inspired by the new music video for Out of The Woods by Taylor Swift, I rendered a calligraphy piece of the lines found at the end part of the video. I really like Taylor Swift since "Love Story" and I have been a fan of her songs. I watched the Out of The Woods music video three days after the release and then I understood what the rave was all about. It was aesthetically pleasing, TBH.

I used an Oslo paper for my piece and I used a red Zig Scroll and Brush brush pen for my lyrics. The thing I love about brush pens is that they are really easy to use and you could manipulate the movement any way you wish. At first it could be quite difficult but with more practice, the brush pen would literally slide on the paper like magic.

The piece reads: "She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was amazing."

 

I like this piece because, for me, it talks about loss, redemption, and enlightenment.
