MALTA & GOZO

These pictures are the result of a ten day shoot in these fascinating islands for the Maltese Tourist Board. They are strange and fascinating places. Hot, dusty, Mediterranean and undeniably 'foreign', they are also one of the last bastions of eccentric 'Englishness'. Ancient Phoenician ruins one minute, then, turn the corner to find oneself confronted by an English Bobby, a red telephone box and a traditional Grocer's shop. Most of these pictures are a selection of what I find myself shooting when I'm off duty.
