Woe is a spiritual successor to Arcade Shooter. Designed in Unity, it was created to show the player a simplified version of the 5 Stages of Grief.  In this game I took the role of Lead Programmer and Story Designer. 
 
The game takes place over three levels with cutscenes between them and at the end to give the story to the player. The cutscenes lead the player into the level. The levels themself are supposed to emulate the emotional 'travel' that the main character is going through.
For the next two portions I included, in game, a digital effect that mades the game look somewhat glitchy, which I think worked out very well. It's an open source effect by Keijiro Takahashi at https://github.com/keijiro.
