Back when I was studying for my Certificate IV in Graphic Design, we were tasked with creating a steampunk vector of anything in Adobe Illustrator. This was basically the second thing that I ever created in illustrator(first being a pocket watch, and when I 'basically' I mean second proper thing, other stuff made were 10-20 minute session screwing around with tools seeing how everything worked), I think it turned out nice, pretty photo realistic apart from the lens & lens rims which was what I start first on this project, the straps and metal work, like screws were created last.
