A packaging concept for a 21st Century Scotch whisky brand that challenges category convention and rituals and appeals to an international female consumer.

The brand has been named "On the rocks" as this a women's whisky the idea behind adding ice to whisky makes the taste of the liquid less harsh, having a smoother and more enjoyable taste from the product.

The idea for the bottle was to pick something that could appeal to women so here I have chosen a saying that can not only apply to the person them selves but also an added bonus that the product can offer.  The saying "A golden key can open any door" can mean many different things anything from what can happen on a night out or even a quite night in. The key on the front of the bottle, if made would be a necklace that you could physically take off the bottle and wear be it on your neck or wrist this is almost a little gift that to bottle offers and backs up the saying that is seen on the back of the bottle.

The bottle will be sold in the packaging seen in the bottle image where the keyhole would be cut out so you can pear into the product adding a bit of mystery.
