Project Objective
My ojective for this project is to create a brand that is very simplistic and has a very down to earth vibe. The main goal for this company is to establish a brand in the organic industry so through the use of hand drawings and clean lines I will create a logo and supporting marketing materials to best display this look.
 
Research
When conducting research on my clients industy I found a reocurring theme throughout other businesses work. The trend for this type of business is to use an earth tone color scheme, burlap, and a lot of stock photography. I will make my company stand out by using a very simplistic color scheme, use hand drawings and very clean lines. I will incorporate some of the same techniques used throughout the industry so that the company will still fit in, but will still use some unique aspects so that the brand stands above the rest.
 
Concept & Solution 
When creating this brand I wanted to visually communicate to customers a look and feel that makes them feel welcomed and a part of the cause. With the use of hand drawings an approachalbe and urban feel is created and a simple color scheme allows for the focus to be on the message. Instead of seeing stock photos of produce, customers get a more urban feel with drawings and are less distracted when looking over the different marketing materials. Using photos straight from the farm on the website makes the brand feel more realastic and welcoming. When creating my logo, I wanted to use a design that incorporated both the clean lines used throughout the other pieces and a funky, urban feel to make the bran unique. Overall I want my customers to feel welcomed and enjoy their time my unique marketing designs.

The targt market for this company are young adults and young families looking to get involved in their community and make nutrious, healthy choices in what they eat. Targeting a younger audience gives the opportunity to create smart eating habits in children as they grow while also creating a sense of communtiy with families that share the same interests.
