The objective of this project was to design a bundle of three books with the central theme of the link between consumerism and waste generation. The project aimed not only to increase consumer awareness on how their habits are contributing to the generation of waste, but also to integrate new technologies in traditional print media. The jacket is printed on kraft paper couple with corrugated board, with the title and conceptual information printed on sticker paper. Included are conceptually shaped barcodes, statistics portrayed as the tracking number, and an interactive bit where the book owner can place their name on the "To:" field. It's representative of how individuals buying the set are owning up to the fact that they do contribute to the growing demand of consumers and the ease of doing their shopping online, and are buying the book set to offset their consumer behavior and see how they can contribute to lessening their footprint on waste generation.
