Little White Lies
This is a competition project for D&AD. The project was to create an illustrated magazine cover for Little White Lies magazine.

The aims of the project was to create a cover that was depict the atmosphere of the movie as well as illustrate the main character of the movie. The chosen movie had to be 1 of 5 movies:- Tree of Life- Black Swan- Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy- Super 8- Drive
In my illustration I used vector drawings of the character from reference images and hand sketches.To create the dark atmosphere I tried to use silhouettes of objects and scenes that a related to the alien in the movie. I tried to use the silhouettes in the same what as you only ever see shadows or hints of the aliens presence within the movie. The colours I used in my illustration help depict the darkened scenes of the movie.
