I was asked to make 3 illustrations to be used as visual aids for Wennington Church's Carol Service on the 20th December - one of a lamb, one of a lion, and one of a snake. Simple.
I used a reference image for each animal, roughly traced around them in illustrator, sampled some colours and began adding triangles and other polygons. I decided on plain backgrounds of a contrasting colour to highlight the subject.
