Late in Autumn / early Winter, before the real cold sets in, you always get a few days with some very cold mornings when a beautiful frost covers the ground in the morning.
I find these frosts better for photography than a full winter frost because of their fleeting nature. In a few hours the sun melts away the freeze and you can almost watch it happening before your eyes.
 
This project has been about foraging through Autumn's last leaves, focussing in wonder on the fallen remnants.
