A sneaker brand designed with you in mind. That was the concept behind this urban athletic sneaker company. The following work includes a transmedia campaign presentations, media assets, style guide, logo development and mood boards. Company narrative: Ever wondered what it would be like if a company thought about what you like? How about an athletic shoe brand that not only is fashionable but represents the urban environment? Well, what can Skeeter do for you? Creating a transmedia campaign allows for the story of Skeeter Kicks to flourish. Transmedia can be seen as a story where each media type is it’s own chapter and part of the overall message.

The goal of this project was to design a full campaign. The initial start of the project was creating sketches for the design. My thought process for the sketches was feet or sneakers since this is a sneaker brand. Of the chosen designs I chose the feet as I felt I could seamlessly incorporate them anywhere. The static mood board was a little harder to conceptualize simply because it is a true introduction to your design.

The rough draft of the mood board compared to the final draft of the mood board is not that much different. With the addition of soles on the windows, it showcases movement which is what Skeeter Kicks is all about. The colors were chosen as it represents a vibrant feel and allows for the sneaker to be worn with any workout outfit or a regular outfit.
