Books are still very much a fundemental reading aspect despite digital technologies. Selecting a book that I had previously read, I thought about how the book design could be changed and how I woild go about it, now that I have read the book.  I went for a very classy elegant design with a lot of twists and turns in the background to emphasis the plot twists in the storyline. The design overall was made using a range of mixed media. The main golden text was created out of honey to create a elegant serif handwritten typeface. The background uses sharpies which I created on a large scale design, then repeated the design digitially to fill out the page. Finally, the large pink faces were spray painted uses a template I'd previously drew of a fellow designer.
