Zoe is a flipbook illustrated and written by me. I randomly chose three limitations: photography, flipbook and hairy/bald. Using my limitations as an inspiration I created Zoe, a little sheep that’s almost bald but dreams of being like the other sheep: all hairy and messy. Through the flipbook you see Zoe sad about being bald, then she realizes that being a sheep with a mohawk is pretty cool so she embraces herself and gets a makeover.
To illustrate the flipbook, I searched for different sheep pictures and then cropped them to create Zoe’s body and her friend’s.
Then I created the characters.
In addition to the flipbook I made some postcards with the different characters of the story and two eye covers inspired by the idea of counting sheep in order to fall asleep.
