Jess Neo's profile

Dear, Kaitlyn.

THE BRIEF:
Your job is to create a fictional character. He or she should be a new undergraduate on the BA (Hons) Advertising course at LCC. Then construct a Trans/Multi-media campaign using FIVE different types of media. The ‘Plot’ is the character’s experience in London and LCC.
ANSWERING THE BRIEF:
Dear Kaitlyn is a project that runs on the style of a 'dear future self' theme and the character is constantly reminding herself she is always better and stronger than she think is. The project includes mediums such as; Written, Visual, Social Media, Film and an Advert.

Becasue i didnt want to do the typical 'a day in a character's life' approach, i decided to go ahead with this. Apart from crafting the character, it includes a personal touch to the story. Everything in this project is taken from events that has happened and thought to happen in the next few years of my life aboad, both good and bad. Being thrown into a whole new environment can be duanting and crafting this has somehow helped me settle in better. As much as it encourages me, i hope those who manage to see this, feel the same. For those in a rough patch - remember that we are often stronger and better than we think we are.

Imagine with me.

A fresh graduate from London College of Communications. She has a degree in Advertising and a diploma in Visual Communications. Not only can she art direct but she is proficient in Adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign and after effects. Able to prepare files for all sorts of print – spot UV, spot colour, pantone, die cuts and hot stamp. Apart from software skills, she has past experience from other advertising agencies.

This means she’s ready for that job you recently got. You know, the one with that client who has requested fro their logo to be made bigger for the third time today. Although well equipped, she is always ready to learn new things and eager to improve herself, to better herself. She is never afriad of making mistakes and always tries again when things dont work out.

What a shame this is only your imagination.

No, it’s not your imagination, she’s right infront of you. Hire her and then, imagine.
Imagine all the great work you could create together.
