The following are scans of some of the early chracter sketches and gesture drawings which slowly transformed into the characters you see on the final pages. 

The following are two of the early panel layouts. This helped finalise the composition of the characters and the environment in every panel and also see how the story worked as a sequential graphic narrative. 

The following shows the process that was followed in creating the final coloured artwork. The colouring was done digitally on Adobe Photoshop.
