Final result. this was the last one i done without serious sketching before, i promise myself. process will explain why.
Its the initial sketch. just a japanese style dog concept off perspectve. desided to render it just for fun in PS
first idea was to put a crashed spaceship or helicopter, robodog is the only survivior, and that junle girl suppused to try to pet lonely robot.
then that tarzan comes.obviously bad composition, so tarzan goes away. and i totaly disliked the dog design and etc
so i just redraw the dog and try to put some story in. like a dragon warshiping thing...
a good dog meeting its master from the pod.
for some reasons i didnt like the previous one, so heres another sketch with some other planet mood
here u can see struggle with colors and composition. then i just deside to put the jungle guy in, change colors to more earthlike, turn the dogs head and finish pic. i could easily avoid all this things just by doing nice solid sketch first. take care guys)
