Create a 3D wooden form that demonstrates the hierarchical arrangement of planar surfaes, combined at right angles, in a visually balanced composition. Consider inherent material qualities while ddeveloping a beautiful object that addresses issues of form, structure, and function.
Materials: A single plank of 3/4 thick, 8" wide, and 96" long lumber,
Goal: Successful compositions will consider both wood and book as compositional elements designed in harmony.
