This was my first foray into both scenic painting and into applying faux finished. The project was for an outdoor touring production of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. The director's vision was for the set's to appear as marble slabs. This was accomplished with a mix of faux-marbling over play wood pieces, and mixed techniques over long canvas drops that were used to wrap staging and PVC pipes to simulate columns
