CTRL + P was the winning entry in the magazine cover category, in a collaborative competition conducted by Fuji Xerox, Singapore at Lasalle College of the Arts. The brief given was to design a magazine cover that best reflects the qualities of their latest printer, Fuji Xerox 1000i.
The concept behind the cover was to reflect how colours come to life with the 1000i printer. The centre piece is formed with bright, vibrant colours - highlighting the printer qualities. This piece is perforated and can be removed to mould into any shape.
By removing it and forming any shape, it gives another life to the magazine, which otherwise is usually discarded and forgotten about after being read. This way, the user can keep this central piece and use it as a bowl, stand, etc. This placed on a table will be a constant reminder of the 1000i printer and its capabilities.
