Question: 
How do you get a local car dealership
over 2k new Facebook followers
&
find new homes
for an ENTIRE animal shelter...
in just 20 days?
A Facebook contest!​​​​​​​
After a few days of cold-calling and emailing,
I rounded up 14 local animal shelters to participate.
The vote contest was officially live!


With a tiny ads allowance...
it made sense to surge the ad budget early
in order to boost awareness for the contest ASAP.
I ended up with more organic reach than Whole Foods.


The dealership's 
most valuable target audience was on the elderly side,
so it required a friendly, all-hands-on-deck approach.



The Votes Are In!
Although I encouraged the shelters daily, 
the votes still differed exponentially,
due to their varying levels of participation and fan base sizes.


The Final Results

All efforts went to providing a positive experience for everyone
and creating awareness for the local animal shelters. 



Wait! What about the Actual Client?

Here's the final report, which was accomplished without a "Like Gate."


Not Too Shabby!

The contest DOUBLED the dealership's Facebook following,
nailed the target demographic, and even went viral in the region.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE...

The next weekend, we were to award the animal shelters their prizes.
So, we decided to take advantage of all the publicity we had garnered
and hosted an "Adoption Day" for the winner at the dealership. 

There was a huge turnout, which led to the entire animal shelter getting adopted in a matter of hours!
