The concept is simple: Hello is an app which lets you send reminders to your friends.
The app was functional and nearly ready to launch in January, but the project was aborted because of the loss of my computer on which all the data was stored.
We restarted Hello as part of theBlurr's WHO project in March 2014 with a fresh new design.
Loading Page and Main Screen
This is the iconic loading page for Hello. This is also the first screen shown to new users.
The blue circle is actually a button. Clicking it would allow the user to start typing text and creating his first Hello.
Home Screen with one Hello received
These screens correspond to the Home View Controller for the app.
The screen on the left is what a user sees when he opens the app. The button in the center is still the famous Hello button that lets you create new Hellos. The circular images around it correspond to your pending Hellos. The small tag on top of the bottom left image indicated a hello was received from that friend.
The screen on the right corresponds to the initial design of what a Hello looks like. You get to this screen by opening a pending Hello from the home screen.
Sending a Hello to two contacts
These screens corresponds to the one following pressing the Hello button and writing a Hello. In the first one, the user choses who to send the Hello to and the second one confirms the it was successfully delivered.
Contacts view
This is the contacts view. From here you can search your contacts, see the Hellos they sent you and add new friends.
Two versions are displayed here: the initial two-columns version without nicknames focusing on the users' profile pictures and the last version with three columns.
The tags in the second version indicates Hellos were received by those users.
Sign Up and Log In Screens
These are a few screens from the sign up and log in procedures that are displayed on app first launch.

Hello (2014)

Hello was my first app project and what pushed me to learn Swift. We came up with the idea with a group of friends from Imperial College.
