As part of its program to preserve culture and history, in 2009 the House of Sampoerna introduced its now well-accepted ‘Surabaya Heritage Track’ (SHT), for which a custom-made tour bus resembling the old tram that used to roam Surabaya’s streets has been procured to take visitors on a guided tour. Now the so-called history trackers can enjoy and get to know the buildings and history of Surabaya, which is well-known as the city of history, or also known as Old Surabaya on a city sightseeing bus.
The concept was made to be the 'sneak-peak' experience of the track. The invitations are made for limited guests only.
