UMZ is a Serbian acronym for the name of an NGO called Association for Mental Health Promotion, dedicated to reserach and prevention of a wide spectrum of mental health problems, as well as to giving psycho-social support for long-term psychiatric patients. A special division of this NGO is dedicated to researching and fighting the stigma of mental illness, through education and anti-stigma programs. One of their most successful projects is ePsychiatrist, the best Serbian online resource for people with mental health problems and their family and friends.
