Clondalkin Sport Taekwondo crest

The crest i created for one of the greatest WTF Taekwondo clubs in Ireland, Clondalkin Sport Taekwondo. They are in the process of changing their name, originally they had a similar name but minus the "Sport" and with the name change they asked me to create a new crest for them. Their old crest was a symbol shape with a roundtower on it, they had a few requests such as put a round tower somewhere in the crest along with the WTF logo since they are a member of that branch of Taekwondo and add a person or object displaying a character move.

I choose a circle design as i believe it fits crests better than any other shape, i added the tower as a semi main feature for traditinal reasons and for the main feature a fighter in a style of Korean art since Taekwondo is Korean. The blue/red colour on the outter ring i choose because they are the two oldest colours associated with Taekwondo, even now in Taekwondo fights(kyorugi) The two opponents fight in red and blue colours body armour.

The back ground colours of dark gray, red and orange are to simulte a sunset while blending in the colours for the highest belt grades. I create two other versions, one with a green outter ring, this version will be used for people fighting while representing Ireland so to match the countries colours. Green white and orange will be present in that crest as seen below.  There is a final third version with the blue/red outter ring with with a blend of green in the main centre background as seen below. This version with be on instructors/masters jackets only, its purpose is to distinguish those who have mastered Taekwondo and by earning a black belt 1st Dan or higher.
The three crest styles, the topt crest in the general all students crest, the second crest is the Black belt only crest and the third crest is the crest for people who will be representing the club and Ireland in tournaments.
The two images directly below are print editions.
An example of how the crest will look on a t-shirt
The Korean character on its own, created in Illustrator.
Initial test of the crest with just the round tower and without the WTF logo.
The below image i created to be used on a juniors tournament flyer, its main objective was to grab the attention of juniors who might be interested in participating in a tournament.
