The front door was very close to the stairs. I positioned the camera in the door way, as far away from the stairs as possible (about 5 feet I guess it was).
That means I had to take several pictures to capture different parts of the stairs.
Six photographs were used to create the final image in Photoshop.
The main challenge was correcting the perspective of each picture as I had to tilt the camera a little bit after each shot.
