This hand bound book illustrate the process followed during my self promotion project. My book was inspired by “Karel Martens Printed Matter”, a title that that occupies an important place in Graphic Design. The page grid is unrestricted allowing for a variety of layout and image placements.
Typographically, the body consists of a single column for main content with a second column for citation and notes. To aid the user, each of the book sections have been colour coded. The book has been french folded and bound using the Japanese stab binding technique with a personal spinal pattern.
