This artwork was inspired by Calavera Catrina, famous mexican icon, that hit my mind in a short journey in San Diego.
I've studied a lot about this figure and her storical and role before drawing it.
Guns symbolize the cruelty of life in this moment, and eyes on the wrists are watching the root of this cruelty, humans.
Only dead can save us, we're all waiting for her. 
Each kind of rose was made with 5 colours, I saw those roses in Balboa Park rose garden. Absolutely beautifull.
I've included the tattoo 'cause I love calligraphy. This is a spanish translation of an italian poem by Giuseppe Ungaretti.
