This was a beer label suggestion for a emerging microbrewery that contacted our school in search of a graphical identity. This concept was not chosen. The brewery's name may change before going public, but for purposes of this project they go by the name of Rekolan Panimo. The brewery is specializing in premium special taste beers, or as they put it "a little bit weird beer".
The brief was to come up with a label in which each beer type stands out, while being united by a similar form. We were to keep in mind that they are not a traditional brewery. We were asked to also make suggestions for the brewery's logo. The logo was to in some way consist of the bottom of a beer bottle. In this concept the logo shape is the label. Identifying individual beers is achieved, simply, by changing the colors for each beer.
