The Making of The Model
The process of tree-making: 1) Wire base. 2) Taped with masking tape to give more volume. 3) Covered with twigs and bound with wire. 4) Covered in clay thus filling in the remaining gaps and giving more detail and texture.
Bioluminescent mushrooms: string lights, each painted with gouache and then covered in hot glue which, while warm, can be adjusted into mushroom head shape. // Crystals: coarse sea salt glued into clusters with hot glue.
Dragonflies and insects: body made from soft golden wire and wings made by covering them with clear and black nail polish.
