Concepto pedagógico
El trasfondo metodológico de este proyecto se basa en el desarrollo de la conciencia ecología a través de los intereses y habilidades de los niños. Para ello, se ha utilizado de base la teoría de las inteligencias múltiples de Howard Gardner y la hemos adaptado a los objetivos del Ekogune.
En ésta propuesta por lo tanto, la inteligencia no está vista como algo unitario, sino que se trata cada habilidad de manera semi-independiente. Así, y adecuando cada tipo de inteligencia a un “txoko” diferente del espacio de actuación, damos lugar a cada niño a expresarse y a aprender de una manera más libre y autónoma. Podemos diferenciar los siguientes tipos de inteligencia y los relacionamos con la propuesta mediante las diferentes cajas y sus colores.

Pedagogical concept
The methodological background of this Project is based on the ecological conscience development through the kid´s interests and skill. In order to achieve that, the multiple intelligence theoretical bases from Howard Gardner have been used, adapting the objectives of Ekogune.
In this proposal, the intelligence is not seen as a unitarian element but as a part of different semi independent skills. In that way, each of the intelligences has been adapted to a different actuation corner or “txoko”, giving the opportunity to each kid to learn and express itself in a free and autonomous way. The different intelligence types can be distinguished and related with the proposal by the different boxes and color treatment.

Así, y adecuando cada tipo de inteligencia a un “txoko” diferente del espacio de actuación, damos lugar a cada niño a expresarse y a aprender de una manera más libre y autónoma. Podemos diferenciar los siguientes tipos de inteligencia y los relacionamos con la propuesta mediante las diferentes cajas y sus colores.

Inteligencia espacial

Relacionado con la facilidad de visualizar y entender el espacio, objetos... todo ello desde diferentes puntos de vista. Por ello, se ha decidido que la caja amarilla sea la que fomente esta inteligencia, ya que al tener varias alturas, huecos, recovecos... los niños podrán tener una apreciación del espacio diferente. Se ha elegido el color amarillo para representar la alegría, la inteligencia y la felicidad, ya que es capaz de generar actividad muscular y mental.

Relacionado con la facilidad de visualizar y entender el espacio, objetos... todo ello desde diferentes puntos de vista. Por ello, se ha decidido que la caja amarilla sea la que fomente esta inteligencia, ya que al tener varias alturas, huecos, recovecos... los niños podrán tener una apreciación del espacio diferente. Se ha elegido el color amarillo para representar la alegría, la inteligencia y la felicidad, ya que es capaz de generar actividad muscular y mental.

Spatial intelligence
Small house // Yellow
Related with the facility of visualize and understand the space, objects… everything from different points of view. For that, it has been decided that the yellow box is going to promote this spatial intelligence due to its geometry with different heights, voids, gaps… That will make kids appreciate the space in a different way. The yellow colour has been chosen to represent the happiness and the intelligence as it is able to generate muscular and mental activity.

Capacidad para sentir distinciones entre los demás, leyendo las intenciones y deseos. Se refuerza la interacción social entre los niños para demandar participación y cooperación. Se propone el espacio de la tribuna para poder recrear, actuar lo aprendido.

Capacity for feeling distintions between others, reading the intentions and wishes. It strengths the social interaction between kids for demanding the participation and cooperation. The tribune space, is proposed as a recreation area where prove all previously learnt.

It is the knowledge of the internal aspects of a person, reaching to interpretat and orientate each own behaviour.
It is the most personal box as well as the most intimate one. It has been linked with the blue colour in order to provide a relaxing effect.

Entre las habilidades que proporciona este tipo de inteligencia está el de resolver e identificar modelos abstractos en un sentido estrictamente matemático y llegar a calcular numéricamente soluciones a dichos problemas. Se ha asociado al hecho de crear, romper y volver a crear espacios, formas. Se ha elegido el color verde por ser el color mas relajante (y ésta caja será una de las más activas, por lo que para contraponer las dos sensaciones es interesante la propuesta de éste color frío, a modo de relajante).

Logical-mathematical intelligence

The abilities that provides this type of intelligence is about resolving and identifying abstract models in an strict mathematical sense and how to get to calculate numerically solutions for those problems. It is associated to the fact of creating, breaking and re-creating spaces and shapes. Green colour has been selected for being the most relaxing one (this box will be one of the most actives ones so in order to face the both sensations was selected in a warming way)

For that, it is proposed a space for the discussion and comprehension as per ecology. The selected colour for that porpoise is the orange that encourages creativity and enthusiasm.

This intelligence is used when we observe the nature and the elements that surround us, being able to recognize and establish the differences and similarities between them. With that porpouse this box has been displayed in the terrace area so that from it can be enjoyed the environment that surrounds Ekogune.
