"As we shut our eyes, we feel detached from the physical - from our body and from reality, causing the soreness of our weary muscles and tribulations to penetrate into a realm of obscurity. How liberating."

‘Ephemeral Reverie’ is defined as that brief moment when one falls into one’s pleasant thoughts: ‘ephemeral’ meaning short-lived and ‘reverie’ meaning daydream. The series of paintings illustrates a repetitive cycle of shifting between reality and fantasy. It embraces the absurdity of finding sanguinity through the phenomenon of daydreaming.
