Hey, guys. I want to share with you my vision of, what i want and what i believe mobile operating systems should look like. This work in progress and here is start(lock) screen.

My concept is about moving "app for that" ideology to history shelfs. I think, that every content we see everyday can be divided into several categories: articles(news, blogs), messages, media content (music, videos) and fOS devided into areas for any kind of content and home area - feed from all your content sources(social networks, messages, news and your productivity feed(calendar reminders, tasks, notes, alarms). This feed can be filtered to display notifications by kind of content, by person,by source. And on your lockscreen you can see count of that notifications and preview which changing item to show every 10seconds.

 

Swiping content type icon to right will bring you to feed, already filtered to that content type.

Smile icon - means social network notifications.

 

Green triangle shows you an battery info. Less battery - means thinner triangle. Its angles are moving from screen adges on 100% batery to center. And it changing it's color from green to red.

 

Swiping down that triangle shows you basic hardware switches and battery info in percentage.
