Darth Vader is cyborg who serves the Galactic Empire and is the main villain in the original trilogy of Star Wars films.  Originally a Jedi Knight named Anakin Skywalker and the father of Luke Skywalker, he became Darth Vader and a Sith Lord.

 

The Sith Order practiced the dark side of The Force and those who had considerable knowledge and skills with the dark side, were titled Sith Lord’s.  Darth Vader was the most famous and high profile of these Sith Lord’s and his rise within the Empire to become the Emperor’s right hand, confirmed this Sith status.
