An old woman and her pig.

An old wom an and her pig.
My thoughts:

''When I first picked up the original book intact & opened it, what caught my interest and made me choose it was what i like to call the 'hand shake".Textures of the book evoked emotions and  information that can be replicated. Books just are not made like they were in 1819. Also the typographic values of the original novel really  influenced my selection of fonts used within the artifact (Times N.R)

This  influenced the majority of pages I created and I liked how it hit the other spectrum in terms of how people expect information to be presented when they picture an old English tale you know?

I wanted to keep the classic nostalgic feel folk tales carry, but apply this to a new generation, knower days everything is digital, and its a huge shame to cut out information that cant be reproduced.

I didnt want to completely eradicate what the book had inside which is why that style of type runs throughout,as well as original pages that i have printed onto you can see the subtle links between the original type and mine'.
