This body of work centres around a personal experience with a disorder of the brain, specifically clinical depression. In my graduate exhibition, I explored this through ideas around psychoanalysis and neuroscience, the unconscious and the dream state, bodies of knowledge and notions of the uncanny. By using the language of science and incorporating it into my art I hoped to create a way of identifying and reflecting on my disease that specifically explores concerns of the mind.
